Summer Camp

Led by SLYKFA:

The Saint Louis Youth Kung Fu Association is a nonprofit organization founded by a few ambitious students with a shared passion for martial arts and cultural enrichment. What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a thriving community devoted to spreading the spirit and traditions of Kung Fu while empowering the next generation through a unique blend of physical, mental, and creative learning.

At the heart of SLYKFA is our mission to make traditional Kung Fu training—and the cultural values it embodies—accessible to youth from all walks of life. We proudly sponsor tuition for children from low-income families, removing financial barriers so that every child has the chance to learn discipline, confidence, and respect through martial arts.

Each summer, SLYKFA hosts dynamic youth camps that go beyond Kung Fu. While students receive expert training from our Master, they also explore a variety of other talents and interests led by our passionate counselors and youth leaders. From solving Rubik’s cubes and playing chess to exploring art through drawing and other creative workshops, our campers are encouraged to grow in all dimensions—mind, body, and spirit.

Our dedicated student leaders not only teach these additional skills but also take on leadership roles in managing and organizing the camp, making SLYKFA a truly youth-driven initiative rooted in mentorship, cultural appreciation, and community impact.
